SHAMROCK 80ft x 15ft Luxury Liveaboard Built in 2002 by Hurst Boatbuilders of Knottingley and the design is based on a French cruiser. She has a draft of 2ft 4ins and an air draft of 8ft 4ins. Powered by a 130hp Ford Dover engine and Borg Warner gearbox. She has a 10kva generator fitted in the engine room with a Kubota engine and Maccalte alternator. There is a Stanley cooker (an Irish Arga type cooker) in the galley which supplies the ten radiators. There is an additional wood/coal burning stove in the lounge. The water can be heated by either the Stanley cooker, 240v immersion or the gas water heater. The wheelhouse is a sitting/dining area with a solid mahogany floor. Galley has full sized washer, separate drier, Flavel cooker with four burners, oven and grill, microwave, extractor fan and fitted oak kitchen units with lots of storage. The lounge has leather three seater and two seater settees. Flooring is solid mahogany parquet. Steps leading to doors opening onto the front deck. The double bedroom has full height fitted wardrobes and separate vanity unit. The small bedroom has a three quarter bed with vanity unit and matching drawers. The washroom is fitted with 240v macerator toilet, shower cubicle and wash basin. The rear master bedroom has a king-size bed with fitted wardrobes either side. The ensuite washroom has a shower cubicle, wash basin and 240v macerator toilet. There is a large storage area in the bow. She has been all around Goole, the River Ouse to York, the River Trent to Nottingham and the Fossedyke to Lincoln. On the canal system up here she has been to Wakefield, Leeds, Rotherham and Stainforth. Part exchange for a narrowboat or smaller widebeam considered.
