Built in 1904, in riveted iron, this converted barge, size 66ft x 16.5ft is now reluctantly up for sale due to ill health. Originally square rigged but now junk rigged. She has cruised extensively around Britain and the European Coast, from Stornaway in the Outer Hebrides to Duarnenez in Brittany. The first photo was taken in 2005 and the sails were renewed 2012. She also has a Lister 33hp inboard engine. She has four bedrooms, two double and two singles, one currently being used as a navigation room. She has a 5 kva generator and also a portable generator as well. Safety certificate 3 1/2 years. 240v shore power and 12v electrics. She has recently been into dry dock and the bottom does need replating. Out of the £17,000 she is up for sale at, £10,000 will be sent directly to the dry dock to go towards this. She would need approximately an extra £8,000 on top of this. She does require some internal updating as well. Current owners have lived aboard her for the last 38 years and want someone else to love and respect her as she deserves. It is a condition of the sale that she does have this replating done completely. This is probably a once in a lifetime chance to obtain a historic sailing barge at a very good price with a complete new bottom - giving you piece of mind for many years to come. £17,000 Laying Goole
