Built 1966 by John Harker at Knottingly. 364 tons gross register. 170
tons net register. 570 tons deadweight. Eight cargo tanks. Accommodation
for four each in separate cabins, galley, mess room, separate toilet,
shower room with shower and wash hand basin. Powered by fully working
MWM 6 cylinder turbo diesel engine said to develop 400 hp with the propulsion
power being transmitted through a Reintzes reverse/reduction gearbox,
type WAV 951 with a reduction ratio of 2:1 Auxiliary engine being MWM
4 cylinder diesel said to develop 30kw at 110v.240dc.Another auxiliary
a Lister 3 cylinder said to develop 18hp at 1500prm. Hydraulic steering.
Ultrasonic thickness tests have been taken on the side decks, side coamings
and tank tops having a minimum reading of 6.5mm on the cargo tank port
side coaming at the forward port side.Laying at Hull.
