THE FLOSS

78ft x 17ft 6ins Humber Keel

Built in 1937 by Watsons of Gainsborough, her working life was for Whittons carrying grain for the pet food industry and worked between Hull and Gainsborough. This Humber Keel has been steeled over and is now ready to be converted, the main Hold being 50ft long. There are also two original Crews Quarters, one forward, one aft which have been stripped out. All bulkheads are still in place. A fully reconditioned Kelvin R6 (Owner has heard engine running) is on her but needs to be installed, new engine bearers are required. There is also another engine for spares included in the sale. She was surveyed in December 2007 and all recommendations were done. She has had a new rudder and new 34 inch diameter propeller fitted. She was towed down to Goole in 2009 where she had a new Wheelhouse and hand rails fitted. She is registered on the National Register of Historic Ships and even her original Certificate of Registry dated 1937 is with her (which is a rarity and a bit of history in itself). Circumstances of the Owner have changed and this is the reason she is now up for sale. This one is well worth a look. £44,995 Laying at Goole REDUCED TO £39,995 FURTHER REDUCED TO £27,500
